Description
A must-see event at the end of summer, the Fête du Coq returns to Cogolin for two days of entertainment, music, Provençal traditions, and outdoor performances, featuring some thirty organizations.
Saturday, September 5:
10:00 a.m. Stalls open;
10:15–10:30 a.m. Provençal dance by L'Escolo Dou Rigaù;
10:30–11:00 a.m. Music by Les Bravadeurs;
11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.: Opening of the festival by the Mayor, followed by a cocktail reception with music by the band Absinthe;
1:45 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.: Provençal dance by L’Escandihado;
2:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Demonstrations by sports clubs;
7:00 PM: Daniel Balavoine tribute concert;
9:00 PM: France Gall tribute concert. Food available for lunch and dinner
Sunday, September 6:
10:00 AM: Stalls open;
10:00 AM: The Escandihado departs from the Maurin des Maures Center and proceeds to the church;
10:30–11:30 a.m.: Mass attended by the Bravadeurs and the Escandihado, followed by the “danse de la souche” in the République parking lot, then an aperitif accompanied by the choir “Les Choristes du Golfe”;
3:00 p.m.: Performance by comedian and showman Eric BAERT, “The Voice Performer.”
A vocal impersonator, comedian, and true SHOWMAN, Eric Baert has established himself as a unique artist on the French stage. A true chameleon, he has mastered 500 voices and will showcase more than 120 of them during this show, brilliantly reinterpreting the greatest names in music!
