Unique worldwide, the ‘Tourisme et Handicap’ label is the only certification dedicated to ensuring tourism accessibility for people with disabilities.
The Tourism & Disability label identifies establishments offering a welcome and services adapted to people with disabilities.
It takes into account four families of disabilities:
• Auditory
• Mental
• Engine
• Visual
This approach allows visitors to prepare their stay with confidence thanks to reliable information on the level of accessibility of the facilities.
The label concerns in particular:
• Tourist accommodation
• Restaurants
• Visiting sites
• Leisure activities
• Tourist Offices
• Cultural facilities

The process includes a self-assessment, an evaluation visit by an evaluation body and the validation of the file according to the criteria of the national reference framework.
The label is valid for a period of 5 years.
