The vegetation and the rock&#13;<br \/>\ncalled &#8220;Granite du Plan de la Tour&#8221;, create a landscape straight out of&#13;<br \/>\nfrom another time.&#13;<br \/>\nThis path leads to the summit of San Pe\u00efre, where an exceptional view awaits you, taking in the Mediterranean, the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, the Maures and Est\u00e9rel mountain ranges, and the foothills of the Alps.&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<br \/>\nFrom 500 BC until the Middle Ages, the San Pe\u00efre oppidum, where Man settled, was a lookout point for enemy attacks. The surrounding walls were built of stacked stones three to four metres high, with a very wide base.
