Turn right onto Chemin Sainte Magdeleine. At Les 4 chemins (citerne verte), turn left for 150 m, then left again on a narrow path for 500 m through the oaks to the chapel. Return via the La\u00efr\u00e9 track to the village center.<br \/>\nPerched at one end of the Plateau de Maravieille, the Castrum de Sainte Magdeleine, La Mole&#8217;s former medieval village, was built in the 14th century from local basalt, a volcanic rock, and soon abandoned.
