Her work explores the theme of humans and animals, intertwined to the point where one can no longer be distinguished from the other.&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<br \/>\nSelf-taught, Anne Joubert discovered oil painting at age 24 and has been painting ever since, drawing inspiration from her many travels. For the past three years, she has also been exploring clay modeling, a new way of engaging with the material, volume, and movement.&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<br \/>\nAnnick Montanari, known as \u201cKaky,\u201d ran the daycare center in Cavalaire-sur-Mer for 40 years before devoting herself fully to sculpture.
