Construction of a footbridge over the Gouorgues torrent
In the year one thousand eight hundred and seventy-nine and the tenth of August, the Municipal Council of Plan de la Tour met in ordinary session under the chairmanship of the Mayor.
Present: M.M.
Condroyer Joseph Martin, Mayor, Sigallas Silvain, Martin Edmond, Lavagne Joseph Julien, Ricard Marcellin, Monier Adelin, Brese Fran\u00e7ois, Ollivier Joseph Magloire, Aum\u00e9ran Aim\u00e9, Coulomp Octavien, Marquet Julien, Gras Joseph.
Mr. Mayor explains to the Council that the wooden footbridge established over the torrent which crosses the ordinary local road No. 4 of Prat Bourdin, at the place known as Gouorgues is in a complete state of dilapidation; That it is important for the safety of people to build a new one before the rainy season.
The board,
Considering that the footbridge in question is out of use due to its state of disrepair,
That it is urgent to build a new one that offers good conditions of solidity
unanimously,
Is of the opinion that a project be drawn up as soon as possible and votes for this purpose, from the funds of ordinary local roads, the sum which will be necessary to pay this expense.
