For the 43rd edition of European Heritage Days, which will take place on 19 and 20 September, two themes are in the spotlight: \u2018Photographic Heritage\u2019 and \u2018Heritage at Risk: Revive, Resist, Reimagine\u2019.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

In Cogolin<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
<\/div>\n\n\n\n

In Cogolin, the town\u2019s heritage is revealed through its iconic crafts, historic sites and this year\u2019s new additions. The carpet workshop, the Rigotti reed factory, the wine estates and the old village invite visitors to discover trades, traditions and a history deeply rooted in the local area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year\u2019s festival also showcases new events, including a tour of the Domaine de la Giscle and the Val d\u2019Astier, as well as a philosophy-and-poetry workshop led by Samia Arabi. Screenings of the films \u2018Manon des sources\u2019 and \u2018La femme du boulanger\u2019 at the Raimu cinema round off the programme, offering another way to discover and celebrate the region\u2019s heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The weekend will also feature a host of tours, exhibitions and events.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

In la Garde-Freinet<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In La Garde-Freinet, this Saturday, we\u2019re travelling back in time! The Conservatoire Museum is open from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm and then from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm. A tour of the village and Fort Freinet starts at 9.30 am, offering you the chance to immerse yourself in history. In the afternoon, at 2.30 pm, delve into the fascinating world of bees and beekeeping during a tour of the apiary, complete with a honey tasting!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
