Description
Beautiful scenery.
Built in 1991, the La Verne dam supplies drinking water to the population of the Golfe de Saint-Tropez and the Pays des Maures. It's also the perfect place for unforgettable strolls along the paths that run alongside the dam.
To reach the dam, exit the village (towards Toulon) and turn right after the 2nd set of traffic lights. Continue for 50 m and leave your vehicle near the waterworks. You'll then have 2.5 km of dirt track to walk on.
Did you know? Interpretation desks are deployed on the intercommunal hiking trails. To find out more, visit https://www.golfe-sainttropez-tourisme.fr/a-faire/activites/randonnees/pupitres-dinformation/pupitres-du-barrage-de-la-verne/
