Our region has pulled out all the stops to ensure risk-free bathing.
The beaches of Cogolin and Le Rayol Canadel-sur-Mer, which were both awarded the “Démarche Qualité des eaux de baignade” (“Efforts to achieve quality bathing water”) certification in 2019 and 2010 respectively, are patrolled by the Maritime Spaces team of the Combined District Council of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez from 15 May to 30 September every year.
The bacteriological analyses carried out by this team on a daily basis between July and August ensure that people can safely swim in our waters, avoiding the unpleasant experience of swimming in poor-quality water.
