Description
In 1962, the architect Delrue du Lavandou created the Notre Dame du Rosaire chapel on the railroad line, in place of the Canadel railway station, in memory of the landing of the African commandos during the night of August 14-15, 1944.
It was around this station that the Commandos d'Afrique had gathered, and that Captain Thorel had asked Monsieur Pergola to guide them through the German lines.
