LA VERNE DAM
Like a blue spot in a green setting, the Barrage de la Verne and its 8 million cubic meters has been supplying drinking water to 10 towns in the Gulf since 1991. It is also a place for unforgettable walks on the side roads that border the barrage.
The body of water has established families of gray herons and cormorants.
Fishing, swimming and navigation are prohibited on the body of water but the landscape remains beautiful.
