Description
The museum features several exhibitions on the traditional trades of the Massif des Maures: chestnut growing, silkworm breeding and cork harvesting. There's also a room devoted to Fort Freinet.
A permanent exhibition on the archeological site of Fort Freinet and exhibitions on the traditions of the Maures region:
- silkworm rearing or sericulture,
- cork oak, its bark and the manufacture of corks
- chestnut trees and chestnuts.
Numerous photographs, machines and videos illustrate these themes.
