back to the list

Description

The Six-Fours/Saint-Raphaël Coastal Cycle Route (V65 of the National Cycle Route Scheme) allows you to cover most of the Var coastline by the coast or inland.

The section of the Parcours Cyclable du Littoral in the commune of Cogolin is divided into two sections of dedicated, shared site, existing or planned, over a length of approximately 4 km.

POINT OF DEPARTURE / ARRIVAL
- Coming from Saint-Tropez in the direction of Les Marines de Cogolin, follow the RD98A along the existing dedicated right-of-way for a length of 3.4 km, continue on the Avenue de la Plage along the existing shared right-of-way for a length of 0.13 km and cross the Rue Jean Aicard and follow the Rue Frédéric Mistral along the existing shared right-of-way until the La Foux roundabout. Continue along the existing exclusive right-of-way towards Port Grimaud and across the Giscle for 0.3 km.
- A section of dedicated lane is planned between the Foux crossroads and the next roundabout in the direction of Cogolin village.

PARKING
- Parking at the "Azur Park" amusement park at the La Foux roundabout

PRECISION
- Cycle track : dedicated area reserved for two or three-wheeled cycles, indicates to pedestrians and drivers of other vehicles that they are not allowed to use or stop on this area (except for emergency vehicles, fire brigade, police, service vehicles and on some sections for authorised residents and moped riders). In the absence of pavements or practicable shoulders, non-motorised users (pedestrians, rollerbladers, people with reduced mobility, etc.) must walk on the left-hand side of the road.
- Green lane: a dedicated area reserved exclusively for non-motorised vehicles and pedestrians (with the exception of emergency vehicles, fire brigades, police, service vehicles and, on certain sections, authorised residents and moped riders).
When the competent police authority also decides to authorise the circulation of horse riders, the sign is completed by the "M4y" sign designating horse riders.
- Shared site: a road shared by different users, whether motorised or not.
